An agri-biotech park in Wallonia...

The result of a collaboration between Digibiocontrol, Wagralim, and Agricells—and particularly its co-founder Vincent Vandamme—an agri-biotech park is set to open soon in Wallonia... 

The goal is to create an integrated ecosystem that will bring together companies active in all areas related to biosolutions (biostimulants, biopesticides, biofungicides, fermentation, etc.), as well as players in the field of digital solutions research. Taking this reasoning a step further, these various organizations will be able to develop cross-collaborations and pool services toultimatelyenable companies on the site to accelerate their growth.

As the professor at ULiège (Gembloux) explains in an interview with the newspaperL’Echo, more than 25 Walloon companies scattered throughout the region are interested in the concept.

But where will this agri-biotech park be located? All intermunicipal economic development agencies have been asked to submit a proposal. They are expected to submit their feasibility studies in October or November of this year... We will, of course, keep you updated on developments in this matter...
