An agri-biotech park in Wallonia...

The fruit of brainstorming between Digibiocontrol, Wagralim and Agricells, and in particular its co-founder Vincent Vandamme, an agri-biotech park is soon to be created in Wallonia...

The aim is to create an integrated ecosystem bringing together companies active in everything to do with biosolutions (biostimulants, biopesticides, biofungicides, fermentation, etc.), as well as players in digital solutions research. Taking this a step further, these different structures will be able to develop cross-fertilization and mutualize services to enable in fine companies on the site to accelerate their growth.

As the professor from ULiège (Gembloux) explains in an interview with the L'Echo newspaper, more than 25 Walloon companies throughout the region are interested in the idea.

But where will this agri-biotech park be located? All the intercommunal economic development agencies have been asked to submit proposals. They are expected to submit their proposals in October-November of this year... We will, of course, keep you informed of developments...
