A workshop on data collection, management and enhancement
On April 23, 2025, IIS Digibiocontrol organized a workshop dedicated to a central issue for the development of biosolutions: the collection, management and valorization of data in the agronomic sector.
The event brought together a number of speakers from Belgium and France to present concrete solutions already implemented to meet data-related challenges. The aim was twofold: to share experiences, but also to identify common levers for strengthening synergies between digital and agronomy players.
Participants were able to discover :
- The REMED project, presented by Louis Gauthier (Doriane), Florence Picault and Rémi Willem (Staphyt),
- The SynApps application, presented by Damien Cariou (SynDev),
- The WALLeSmart project, led by Carlo Bertozzi and Olivier Debauche, DDr (Awé),
- Le Carnet de champs connecté et collaboratif, presented by Sébastien Weykmans(WalDigiFarm),
- Theelectronic register application, developed by Loïc Laridant and Robin Hannoteau (ASBL Corder)
Beyond the demonstrations, the morning concluded with an open discussion session, during which several major issues were addressed: system interoperability, standardization of data formats, securing exchanges and collective governance of information.
These discussions helped to sketch out concrete avenues for collaboration, particularly on a cross-border scale, between players in the agricultural digital sector on either side of the Franco-Belgian border.
